SB 805 Hires Ryder Roberts as Director of Boys Water Polo, Adds Alumni Coaches Kodi Hill & Jamie Neushul to Staff

Santa Barbara 805 Water Polo Club is pleased to announce that we are re-establishing our High School Boys Program and adding three high level coaches to join our already outstanding coaching staff  Led by Cathy Neushul, Connor Levoff, and local High School Head Coaches Chuckie Roth, Mark Walsh, and Peera Sukavivatanachai.

 

Ryder Roberts will be stepping in as SB 805's Boys Water Polo Director in addition to serving as High School Boys Head Coach.  

 

Before joining 805 Ryder coached at Mission Water Polo Club/J Serra High School, UCLA, and LA Premier/Harvard Westlake where he worked hand in hand with some of the leading water polo coaches and athletes in the nation.  As a player, Ryder helped lead the Bruins to the 2014 and 2015 NCAA Championships, a 57 game winning streak, and was a three time NCAA All-American as well as the 2015 NCAA Championship MVP.

Kodi Hill joins the SB 805 Staff as a 16U and 18U Girls Coach.  

 

Kodi prepped at Dos Pueblos High School before moving on to UCLA where she was a two time NCAA All American and the Bruin's all time leader in Assists.  Kodi represented the  USA Youth, Junior, and Senior National Teams before jumping into a coaching career.  Kodi coached for LA Premier, UCLA, and Corona Del Mar prior to returning to Santa Barbara.

 

 

Jamie Neushul, a 2020 USA Water Polo Olympic Gold Medalist comes aboard as a coach at the 14U, 16U, and 18U Levels for SB 805

 

Jamie, another Dos Pueblos alum, competed collegiately at Stanford where she was a member of three NCAA Championship winning Cardinal Teams and a four time NCAA All American.  Jamie competed with the USA Women's Senior National Team from 2017 until 2021, as well as playing for Hungarian Champions UVSE Budapest.  Jamie has coached youth athletes at Socal Water Polo Club and served as an assistant for the UC Irvine Women's Water Polo Team.  Currently, Jamie is the Aquatics Coordinator and Assistant Coach at Santa Barbara High School.
